BBMC is a charitable institution, it is a Baptist voluntary funded publically Medical Centre under the care of Nyabugando Baptist Church and held under Kasese Baptist Health Department (KBHD). The BBMC espouses the values of Baptist Denomination for spreading the Gospel of Christ and Treating People’s diseases for God’s Glory in the emulation of Jesus Christ Healing Ministry. That the basis of BBMC is due to the constant prayer request by Christians in Church services for praying for the sick, the Vision for Nyabugando Baptist Church started in March 2013, by the Church Senior Pastor, Reverend Masereka Stariko and his Associate Pastor Kato Stephen with the help of Mr. Kasengya Joshua the then Child Development Officer in the Church Children Ministry, spearheaded the Church dream of starting up a Health Centre.

Goal: To improve quality of life of all people without gender, religious and race segregation through holistic right based approach.
Objectives
- To extend Healthy facility to the Community without segregation based on Color, Religion, Family background and Political affiliation.
- Alleviation of HIV/ AIDS scourge in the Community through holistic approaches and care for the affected people.
- To establish or assist in the provision and promotion of feeding programs for street children, AIDS victims and Orphans.
- Spreading the Gospel of Christ to all people.
- To promote quality antenatal postnatal care to mothers in the Community.
- To promote family welfare programs such as Family Planning, Reproductive Health and Safe Motherhood.
- To enter into any arrangements with any government authorities and non-governmental Organization that may seem conducive to the Health Centre’s objectives and to obtain from such government agencies any rights, privileges and concessions which the Health Facility may think desirable to obtain.
- To promote or assist in the promotion of any organization or company or other bodies having objectives and activities similar to those of BMMC.
Impact of the Health Centre to the community
Before BBMC started health services were expensive in our community were most people cannot earn a dollar per day, with this our costs were managed by the patients hence service improvement. The church has got another good opportunity to preach the Gospel to the patients who come to seek our medical care.
