UG0140 Nyabugando CDC is a Compassion assisted project that started on 25th October 2004. It has supported 624 children and youth since first registration, and currently serving 288 children and youth.
Nyabugando CDC runs two programs, Home based and Centre based programs and has impacted in the lives of many children and youth through education, health promotion and spiritual development.
The major objective for Nyabugando CDC is to support children and youth grow in Christ and help them achieve their career goals.
Nyabugando CDC project is approaching maturity stage for compassion assistance is currently in transition preparation stage. *Transition* Means compassion phases out from supporting child ministry at the centre to full church funding. It’s therefore our prayer that more donors/ sponsors come in to support child ministry at Nyabugando Baptist church.
Future Plans
In addition to spiritual development to the youth, Nyabugando Baptist church plans to establish a well-equipped skills Centre to help youth in and beyond Nyabugando community to acquire livelihood skills for self-sufficiency.
